RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking an experience commercial service/maintenance technician. This position will perform work at 4 Commercial properties closely located to each other in the West San Fernando  Valley / Westlake Village area.

 

Service / Maintenance Technician Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience working at a large commercial property or multiple properties.

Experienced with general preventive maintenance and repair of commercial properties, systems, equipment and grounds.

Experienced with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.

Experienced with work order systems, Microsoft Word and Excel




Service / Maintenance Technician Job Description

Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

Completes work requests as directed by Maintenance supervisor.

Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance and records repairs as required.

Completes / Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.

Completes / Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.

Maintains lighting systems throughout the each facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.

Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing.

Performs carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.

Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

OSHA Safety training

Require valid driver's license and insurance.

Uses computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training.

Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook.

Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
