If you have experience as an apartment Leasing Consultant/ Resident Services with at least 200 apartment homes and are looking for a new opportunity, Property Management Personnel, Inc can help you make an educated decision for you new position.

We are currently seeking Experienced Leasing Consultants in Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley experience who are seeking a great new opportunity in Apartment Management. If you do not have experience in apartment management please review and apply for our entry level position. Working with Property Management Personnel as a Temporary associate provides you the opportunity to make educated decision by working with the potential company and property team before making a commitment. Strictly Temporary positions are available with our company if you are pursuing other goals.

Leasing Consultant Job Description

  • Answer phone and greet both current and prospective residents.
  • Qualify prospective residents and complete required paperwork.
  • Assist current resident with service requests and other concerns with a professional, helpful and courteous attitude.
  • Assist associates in tending to all functions of the Community Office.
  • Follow up with prospective residents.
  • Tour prospective residents showing all amenities of the community and the apartment homes.
  • Lease Apartment Homes and enter a variety of information into computer programs.
  • Assist management with resident functions and other related activities.
  • Other general office duties.
  • Comply with all State, Local and Federal Fair Housing and ADA laws.

Position Requirements

  • 2 Years professional apartment leasing experience with a minimum of a 200 apartment community.
  • Current training in Fair Housing and Leasing Practices
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Experienced with property management specific computer programs helpful.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexible energetic and organized.
  • Able to work weekends including Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to change, and a team player.
  • Outgoing, warm and friendly.
  • Microsoft/WEB based programs.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED minimum.
