Seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of a large older Homeowners Association located in the central area of Los Angeles. Assistant Maintenance Supervisor Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience of HOA maintenance, apartment maintenance or facilities maintenance
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, landscape, paint, drywall and general property maintenance.
  • Experienced with all applicable tools and maintenance.
  • Respectful demeanor with co-workers, supervisors and vendors.
  • Customer centered and maintains professional attitude and boundaries when working with Homeowners.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, facilities database and inventory control.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish
  • Current Fair Housing Training
  • Valid drivers license, insurance and clean driving record.

 

Assistant Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining electronic work order system, review and track work orders and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Work with Homeowner, Maintenance Supervisor and vendors to schedule work and resolve any issues.
  • Perform maintenance, complete maintenance request as needed.
  • Notify Maintenance Supervisor of potential issues with work orders.
  • Ensure Homeowners charges are correct and billed 
  • Together with Maintenance Supervisor work on special projects and repairs not identified by work orders.
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor regular property walks to identify any needed work to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and inventory system
  • Any other duties as required
