Apartment Community/ Property Manager

Pomona, CA 91768 | Contract contract-to hire

If you're looking for a Property Manager position that doesn't consume your day tending to required reports this is it! This privately owned 100+ unit property is in need of an experienced Community Manager that will assist prospective residents and current residents.  You will also be working vendors and overseeing projects at the property. This property will include a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment, salary and benefits upon completion of a trial period and benefit requirements time period.


Supervise and direct the daily operation of an apartment community.
Obtain and/or work with current vendors to upgrade and/or maintain the asset.
Maintain high occupancy level through effective marketing, staff motivation and resident satisfaction.
Create, implement and assess the marketing of the community
Direct, motivate and train leasing/resident services and maintenance personnel.
Address concerns of current and prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
Direct maintenance staff to insure the asset is maintained, service requests are tended to in a timely fashion and apartments are ready for move in.
Issue a variety of legal notices and letters.
Implement the policies and procedures set forth by the managing company.


Minimum 3 years experience managing a 100 apartment home community.
Proven track record required.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Excellent telephone etiquette
Strong leadership, communication, management and sales skills.
Flexible energetic and organized
Ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to change, and team leader.
Outgoing, warm and friendly.
Property/asset management software.
Microsoft/WEB based programs including Word and Excel.
Experienced with generating all required reports.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
