Apartment Manager

This is a temporary position for three months.

  • Manage less then 100 apartment homes over 3 separate properties.
  • Managed community office and maintain required hours.
  • Walk properties and rent ready units daily and inform maintenance of any needed repairs.
  • Assist and oversee vendors performing work on property
  • Provide Portfolio Manager with required reports
  • Assist current resident with service requests and other concerns with a professional, helpful and courteous attitude.
  • Tour prospective residents showing all amenities of the community and the apartment homes.
  • Accept and process rents.
  • Issue and deliver notices.
  • Other general office duties.
  • Comply with all State, Local and Federal Fair Housing and ADA laws

 

  • Experience as a Apartment Manager with a minimum of 75 apartment homes or Assistant Manager at 200 apartment homes.
  • Property management specific software required
  • Produce weekly property reports
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both oral and written manner, using complex sentences with correct grammar (tense, punctuation, pronunciation, as well as a good vocabulary.)
  • Ability to perform basic math skills, use of decimals to compute percentiles and prorates.
  • Recent Fair Housing Training.

This is a maximum 3 month assignment and this position does not include housing.
